Qatar's NCSA Boosts OT Security Maturity with ISASecure Partnership
Qatar's National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has joined forces with the ISASecure certification program, a significant step towards bolstering the country's operational technology (OT) security maturity and fostering international collaboration in cybersecurity awareness.
NCSA Qatar, responsible for implementing the National Cybersecurity Strategy and protecting critical infrastructure, has actively participated in regional and international cyber bodies to promote global cybersecurity cooperation. This latest move sees them partnering with Palindrome Technologies, which is finalizing requirements to become an ISO/IEC 17065 accredited third-party certification body under the ISASecure scheme.
Mark DeAngelo, ISASecure program manager, welcomed NCSA Qatar's partnership, highlighting the need for comprehensive cybersecurity in critical infrastructure. NCSA Qatar's director of policy affairs, Dana Yousif Al-Abdulla, echoed this commitment, stating that joining ISASecure reflects their dedication to adopting globally recognized standards and international collaboration in security.
