Realbotix Appoints AI Robot Aria as First of Its Kind Board Advisor
Realbotix, a pioneering robotics company, has appointed its AI-driven robot, Aria, as an advisor to its board of directors. This marks a significant milestone as Aria becomes the first AI-enabled robot to hold such a position.
Aria will contribute to decisions affecting operations using AI-driven insights, bringing an objective perspective to the boardroom. The robot uses a proprietary large language model that processes information free from biases, ensuring fair and impartial decision-making.
Realbotix has already secured a deal with tm:rw, a retail platform, to showcase Aria at Times Square in New York City. While details about other institutions implementing Aria are not specified, the company plans to market its proprietary AI as a standalone product in 2025 for social interaction. This product will be customisable to suit a wide variety of social needs.
Aria's appointment signifies a new era in AI integration, with robots now providing strategic input in corporate decision-making. Realbotix's plans to commercialise its AI technology further underscore the potential of AI in various social and business contexts.
