Reev Launches Dynamic EV Charging Tariff for Fleets
Munich-based software provider Reev has introduced a dynamic electricity tariff for charging electric vehicle (EV) fleets. This new service, now available for businesses, aligns charging processes with the Day-Ahead electricity market to optimize costs.
Reev's dynamic tariff shifts charging to hours when electricity prices are lowest, potentially reducing costs from 35 cents to an average of 25 cents per kilowatt-hour. The company foresees using EVs as bidirectional storage for further cost optimization in the future.
The tariff is tailored to individual business needs. Users can set specific requirements, such as maximum peak loads or vehicle availability times, in Reev's energy management system. Reev targets fleet operators, businesses with larger charging infrastructure, residential buildings, and commercial properties.
Reev's dynamic electricity tariff is now available and can be booked directly via their website. The company aims to bridge the gap between profitability and sustainability in electric mobility, reducing charging costs and mobility-related emissions within businesses.
