In a bid to encourage community participation and ensure prompt action, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has introduced Mahboub chatbot. This innovative service allows residents and visitors to report damages to road and infrastructure via WhatsApp.

To use Mahboub chatbot, simply add the official WhatsApp number, +971 58 800 9090, to your contacts. You can then send photos of damaged infrastructure directly through WhatsApp, streamlining the reporting process.

Mahboub chatbot is designed to provide rapid responses to reports and feedback, ensuring that issues such as cracked road surfaces, worn-out pedestrian crossing lines, broken signals or traffic lights, and damaged bus shelters are addressed swiftly. The chatbot can also be used to report issues with pavements, directional signs, and other infrastructure assets.

Meera Al Shaikh, Director of Customer Happiness at RTA's Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, emphasised RTA's commitment to enhancing community participation in reporting damages. She stated, "By using Mahboub chatbot, we are empowering our residents and visitors to take an active role in the prompt detection of any damages."
