Ross Fetes New Solutions, Three Decades of Development at NAB Show

Livin' Large in Las Vegas - Kicking off its keynote presentation at the glitzy heart of Sin City, Ross Video hyped up a slew of fresh solutions and enhancements to their lineup, showcased recent wins, and had the crowd giggling with some Area 51-inspired and Ross Socks humor - now on their ninth edition.

In keeping with tradition, Ross Video's boss man, David Ross, delved into the company's last-year figures, declaring with pride, "Alright, peeps, let's spill the tea: 2024 was our most lit year ever. Kudos to Team Ross, we racked up 33 straight years of orders growth and we're twice as boss as we were just five years ago [back in 2019]."

Ross also shed some light on the company's green journey, saying, "Last year, we dropped a bomb: our goal is to have a carbon-neutral factory by 2025. Well, I've got some fantastic news: right now, baby, our factory is carbon neutral – and I'm guessin' it might be the first one in our biz to achieve that status."

During the keynote, Ross flaunted a pile of products, including Carbonite HyperMax, XPression, Ultrix, Media I/O, OverDrive, RPM openGear UI, and the creations of its Rocket Surgery design operation, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Solutions covering cloud-based production, graphics, motion graphics, weather, robotics, switchers, newsrooms, augmented/virtual reality, and more weredemoed and thrown into the lavish stage production.

To celebrate their latest Ross Socks, the company unleashed its graphics and virtual reality tech to conjure up an Area 51-style UFO landing. A few executives, playing the part of "Men in Black," proudly modeled the latest footwear. David Ross held his cards close to his chest when asked if the new socks were made from extraterrestrial materials. The socks and other Ross solutions can be found at SL206 for curious eyes.
