Ruger's RXM Pistol: Glock G19 Compatible, Optics-Ready

Ruger's new RXM pistol has hit the market, causing a stir among gun enthusiasts. This striker-fired pistol shares dimensions with the Glock G19 Gen3 and uses Glock magazines. It's optics-ready and compatible with popular holsters.

The RXM boasts a 4-inch barrel and weighs 23.2 ounces, identical to the Glock 19 Gen3. It should fit most holsters designed for the Glock 19, including the Crucial Concealment Ambi Covert IWB holster. This holster features taco-style construction, sweatguards, and adjustable cant and retention.

The RXM's trigger is praised for its simplicity and lack of creep or mush, comparable to a Glock 19 Gen5 trigger. For optics, the RXM's slide is ready to accept RMR-, DeltaPoint Pro-, and RMSc/Holosun K-series-footprint optics. The Shield Sights RMS2 red-dot sight, made by Shield Sights Ltd. in Bridport, UK, fits perfectly and offers automatic brightness detection, a 20,000-hour battery life, and IP67 water resistance. Despite a slight aesthetic gap in the optics cut, it does not hinder function or fitment.

The Ruger RXM is a versatile, optics-ready pistol that shares dimensions with the Glock 19. It's compatible with Glock magazines and popular holsters, and its trigger is well-received. Paired with the Shield Sights RMS2 red-dot sight, it's a solid choice for concealed carry and range use.
