Sage Mobile Launches 'Healthy' iPhones for Kids to Combat Grooming

Sage Mobile has introduced the world's first 'healthy' iPhones for children and teenagers in the UK. These devices aim to promote digital well-being and reduce online risks, particularly grooming. The company, while not disclosing its founder, is backed by Sage, a renowned provider of business software solutions.

The Sage Mobile iPhones, available as iPhone 16e and iPhone 16 Pro, come with unique features designed to safeguard users. A factory reset is impossible, and explicit images are blocked, ensuring a safer digital environment. Additionally, only essential apps like camera, calendar, maps, music, and messages are pre-installed, eliminating unnecessary distractions.

These iPhones also come with AppleCare and AppleCare+ at no extra cost, bundled into a monthly subscription. The devices are part of Techless, Inc.'s global expansion, aiming to reintroduce users to the 'real world' by reducing 'doom-scrolling' and digital noise. The Sage software preinstalled on these iPhones removes common digital distractions, promoting a healthier technology relationship.

Sage Mobile's launch of the 'healthy' iPhones in the UK is a timely response to the increasing online grooming risks, with over 7,000 such crimes reported in the UK in one year. By focusing on mental health and reducing online risks, these iPhones are a step towards a more responsible digital life for children and adults alike.
