Samsung's First Android XR Headset 'Project Moohan' Coming This Year
Samsung's first Android XR headset, 'Project Moohan', is set to hit the market this year. The device, a 'quest' for immersive experiences, is expected to launch at the upcoming Unpacked event in July and go on sale in October. Samsung plans to ship around 100,000 units initially.
The headset, codenamed 'Project Moohan', is slated to release in the calendar year 2025. Samsung has chosen to use displays from Sony for this device, despite having its own superior displays, such as those in the Apple Vision Pro.
In other Samsung news, reservations are now open for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. Pre-orders come with a $50 credit, and customers can save up to $1,150+ in total.
