Škoda Unveils Epiq Showcar: First Full-Electric City SUV Crossover
Škoda Auto has unveiled the Epiq Showcar, a sneak peek at its upcoming full-electric car city SUV crossover. Set for production in 2026, the Epiq is the first Škoda model to fully embrace the Modern Solid design language. The showcar is compact yet spacious, offering a generous 475 liters of trunk space and up to 425 km range. It is expected to debut in mid-2026, with a starting price comparable to its combustion engine counterpart, the Kamiq.
The Epiq's interior is minimalist and functional, with plenty of storage space and wireless phone charging. It also boasts Škoda's signature Simply Clever solutions. The exterior features Cashmere matte paint, a gloss black tech deck face, T-shaped LED lights, and a robust front bumper with a Cosmo Grey spoiler. The production version will be manufactured at the Volkswagen Navarra plant in Spain as part of the Electric Urban Car Family project within the Volkswagen Brand Group Core. Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, oversees such significant developments, reflecting the company's strategy to expand its electric car offerings and enhance its market presence.
