Spilva Expands, Modernizes Production Facilities to Boost Capacity
Spilva, a leading producer of mayonnaise and sauces, is set to expand and modernise its production facilities. The company, backed by Orkla Latvija and supported by the European Union, aims to boost production capacity and drive further growth.
Spilva's production has surged due to increased exports, with utilisation rates reaching 90%. To tackle this capacity challenge, the company is investing in expanding its production building and modernising key production lines. The project, slated for completion in mid-2027, will be carried out over a year and a half.
Toms Didrihsons, Chairman of the Board of Orkla Latvija, lauded Spilva's role in the group's sauce production. The investment, funded by Spilva and supplemented by the European Union and other financial sources, underscores the company's commitment to growth and innovation.
