The spirit of Sweden pervades the cabin, with light colors, understated design, and warm, cozy noble austerity. Electronics take care of every comfort need, with auto-opening sliding doors, climate-controlled seats, and a massage function for ultimate relaxation. Though work might be an option thanks to table systems similar to airplanes, the EM90 caters more to those who choose to unwind and entertain. Regarding a release in Europe, Volvo has yet to announce plans for the EM90, largely due to its high price tag of 100,000 euros in China, making it the most expensive model in their fleet. German elites, however, are starting to appreciate luxury limousines for lounging and standing, with Lexus' LM and Mercedes' next V-Class offering first-class lounge experiences. It seems that the Swedes may be keeping their finger on the pulse of the market and could beat the Germans to it with the EM90. Either way, time and space wait for no one, and the days of cramped luxury are certainly numbered.
Remark: The rear equipment of the Volvo EM90 is primarily operated via touch strips that are elegantly integrated into the doors with illuminated symbols or small displays. VW could take a cue from that.
