**Synthesia Unveils New Global Headquarters in Central London**

Synthesia, the AI-powered corporate video company, has marked an important milestone in its eight-year journey with the unveiling of its new global headquarters at Regent's Place campus in central London. The event was attended by a packed audience, including the UK's secretary of state for science, innovation, and technology, Peter Kyle, and the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

The move to the new headquarters, which is four times the size of its old London HQ, comes as Synthesia continues to grow and expand. The company, which employs over 500 people and has an office in New York, has attracted significant investment and achieved several milestones that position it as a leader in AI-driven video creation technology.

Peter Kyle stated that the new headquarters shows "evidence of the strength of Britain's tech sector." Sadiq Khan added that Synthesia's new headquarters "further cements Synthesia's reputation as a global leader in AI" and "London's reputation as a place for businesses to thrive."

Synthesia's trajectory from a startup enduring tough early years to a billion-dollar AI video generation leader highlights its innovative approach, strong investor support, and clear vision to revolutionize video content creation across industries. The company developed an AI text-to-video platform that allows users to create fully editable, realistic videos featuring avatar presenters without prior video production experience.

By 2025, Synthesia had become the leading AI text-to-video platform for enterprises, demonstrating rapid growth to achieve over $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). In January, Synthesia doubled its valuation to $2.1bn following a $180m funding round. The company has also reported earning $1.1m in revenues in a single day.

CEO Victor Riparbelli is looking to the future, envisioning AI-generated videos to be fully coded, customizable, and personalized, enhancing viewer engagement beyond traditional video formats. The company aims to further simplify video creation to the point where anyone can produce professional-quality content without specialized skills, fueling a shift in content preference towards visuals rather than text-based media.

The Regent's Place campus is a 13-acre site that includes offices, labs, retail, and public spaces, and is home to the UK's life sciences community, including the Crick Institute and startups. Synthesia has pledged that the UK will remain its headquarters. The photo credit for this article is Synthesia.
