Tafel Deutschland Launches eco-Plattform for User Search
The 'Tafel macht Zukunft' project, operated by Tafel Deutschland, has launched a comprehensive user dashboard called eco-Plattform. This platform, available since late 2022 following a pilot phase from 2019 to 2022, offers a range of search functionalities for its users.
The eco-Plattform's user dashboard allows for several search criteria. Firstly, users can be found by their first or last names. Additionally, users can be located by their user title. However, roles are not searchable but can be filtered using the platform's filters.
Not all user information is searchable. Badges, user descriptions, and custom field data cannot be used to find users. Furthermore, searches cannot be conducted using user ID or email. Despite these limitations, the platform provides a robust search functionality that caters to most user needs.
The eco-Plattform's user dashboard, provided by Tafel Deutschland, offers a versatile search functionality. Users can be found by name and title, with roles filterable but not searchable. While some user data is not searchable, the platform strikes a balance between user convenience and data privacy.
