Telecommunications company Batelco collaborates with Thales on cutting-edge IoT connectivity system
Batelco, a prominent member of the Beyon Group, has announced a partnership with Thales, a global leader in advanced technology solutions. The collaboration was officially sealed during GITEX Global 2024, held at Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
The partnership aims to provide customers with a cutting-edge Internet of Things (IoT) management solution. Batelco will deliver an advanced IoT connectivity management platform, leveraging Thales' decades of knowledge in connectivity management. This platform is designed to transform the management of IoT devices for business owners, offering a simplified approach to managing connections and rules for multiple users across different use cases.
Guillaume Lafaix, the VP Connectivity Solutions at Thales, expressed his honour to collaborate with Batelco, praising their connectivity expertise. Maitham Abdulla, the CEO at Batelco, shared similar sentiments, expressing his excitement about the collaboration with Thales.
The integrated platform will offer advanced security for the management of IoT device connectivity. It is designed to enhance efficiency and productivity for customers, significantly improving data communication and transfer capabilities. The signing of the partnership agreement was carried out by Batelco CEO, Maitham Abdulla, and Guillaume Lafaix, the VP Connectivity Solutions at Thales.
