Telestream Unveils VLS-300: Next-Gen Lightspeed Server for High-Volume Transcoding
Telestream has introduced the VLS-300, the first in its next-gen Lightspeed servers for high-volume transcoding and media processing. The VLS-300 will make its debut at the 2024 IBC Show in Amsterdam, from Sept. 13 to 17, at Stand 7.B11.
The VLS-300 boasts impressive specifications. It features two powerful NVIDIA A4000 GPUs, ensuring swift processing. For storage, it includes NVMe 800GB OS drives and dual 1.92TB media storage RAID drive bays, providing ample space for large-scale operations. The server also comes with robust cooling systems and dual power supplies for reliability. Ethernet options are versatile, catering to various networking needs.
Telestream has reported a 30% performance boost in the VLS-300 compared to its predecessor. This is attributed to its dual GPU configuration and advanced hardware components. The company is excited to showcase these capabilities at the IBC Show.
