Tesla Opens Largest Canadian Sales, Service, and Delivery Center in Port Coquitlam

Tesla has unveiled its newest Sales, Service, and Delivery Center in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Located at 1028 Nicola Avenue, just off Lougheed Highway between Costco and Canadian Tire, the 60,000-square-foot facility is set to become a key hub for Tesla's Canadian operations.

The grand opening event for the Port Coquitlam Service Center is scheduled for August 23, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests can expect live music, light refreshments, and limited giveaways, with space being limited, so early RSVP is recommended. An exclusive tour of the new facility will also be available.

According to Tesla's original proposal, the Port Coquitlam Service Center will act as a terminal destination for vehicles shipped to Canada from both the United States and Shanghai. However, Tesla no longer imports vehicles from China but has recently started importing Model Y from Germany for the first time.

Once fully operational, the Port Coquitlam facility is expected to handle more than 75% of Tesla's Canadian imports. The Service Center is the seventh location in the Greater Vancouver area for Tesla, expanding the company's presence in the region.

Guests visiting the grand opening event will have the opportunity to explore Tesla's latest vehicle models and take demo drives. Tesla Advisors will be present to answer questions about vehicles, charging, and ownership. Attendees may also use a referral link to get three months of Full Self-Driving (FSD) when buying a Tesla.

The Port Coquitlam Service Center has approximately 650 parking spaces, making it a convenient location for Tesla owners and potential buyers alike. The facility's efficiency is optimized with a continuous single-floor layout, similar to Tesla's Gigafactory Texas, which serves as the largest purpose-built Tesla site in North America.

Gigafactory Texas, located just outside Austin, Texas, covers over 10 million square feet of factory floor space on 2,500 acres, making it the largest warehouse in North America and one of the largest buildings in the world by volume. The facility serves as Tesla’s primary production site for the Model Y for the Eastern U.S., the exclusive home of the Cybertruck, and Tesla’s next-generation vehicle manufacturing hub.

While Tesla’s Fremont Factory in California remains the largest traditional auto manufacturing facility by floor area, it is not a purpose-built facility on the scale of Giga Texas. Other large Tesla sites like the service center in Port Coquitlam, Canada, and the Nevada Gigafactory are significant but smaller than Giga Texas.

The Port Coquitlam Service Center is a significant addition to Tesla's Canadian operations, offering guests an exclusive look at the latest Tesla models and a chance to experience the company's innovative technology firsthand.
