HyTerra Ltd Announces Update on Hydrogen Testing Operations
HyTerra Ltd (ASX: HYT), the first ASX-listed company focused on natural hydrogen exploration and production, has announced an operations update on the well flow test at Project Geneva in Nebraska, USA.
The update, authorized by the Board of Directors and first announced in December, pertains to the extended flow test of the Hoarty NE3 hydrogen exploration well. The testing operations, scheduled to commence in February, are being carried out in partnership with Hydrogen Energy LLC (H2E).
Service providers are preparing to mobilize the rig and supporting equipment to the wellsite. The test aims to measure hydrogen production potential and key parameters such as gas composition, pressure, and flow rate.
Under the terms of the joint development agreement, HyTerra has the option to acquire 51% of the assets and assume operatorship. HyTerra will have a company representative on location during the entire operation.
The Operator, currently conducting the hydrogen exploration and production activities in Nebraska, USA, remains unidentified in the search results.
HyTerra is partnering with H2E for this groundbreaking project, which includes the world's first wildcat well targeting natural hydrogen. The latest news about hydrogen testing operations can be found on our website.
It is important to note that the news does not provide specific details about the current flow test at Project Geneva. The testing operations are not mentioned as being carried out in partnership with the Operator in the announcement.
