Saint Sass, the trailblazing fashion label, has conquered the world through smart tech and digital innovation. With the US now their largest market, they've further solidified their dominance, thanks to a little help from Paris Hilton's Instagram comment.
Founders Larissa Schmid and Vivien Wysocki have more than just a fashion company; they've built a tech-optimized sales empire with Saint Sass socks. From social media marketing to logistics, from AI-powered A/B testing to German-Italian flock technology in textile production, it's technology that's propelled their "statement on the thigh" line into a global phenomenon.
Schmid describes their reliance on AI as second nature. In her Berlin-based team, AI streamlines almost everything: creative text ideas, targeted campaigns, and investor communication. AI, she says, drives their campaigns with pinpoint precision.
Beyond marketing, Saint Sass's tech-savvy approach extends to trend analyses and production. Algorithms scan millions of images daily to recognize trends faster than traditional market research, while Asian retailers connect online shops, stores, and chatbots to provide highly personalized client recommendations.
Saint Sass production is driven by a tech logic as well. Intricate sock designs with stretchable, non-distorted text—"Not your babe" or "Retired rich"—are technically challenging. However, thanks to German innovation and flock production in Italy, up to 10,000 socks can now be produced daily using automated machinery.
Stateside, digital reach has become critical to Saint Sass's success. With a presence on Instagram in both markets and influential support—such as Paris Hilton's viral comment—market entry has been an unmitigated success.
