Treat Planet Acquires Bosco & Roxy's, Expanding Product Portfolio and Manufacturing Capabilities

Treat Planet, a pet treat platform, has acquired Bosco & Roxy's, a premium baked dog treat manufacturer. The acquisition expands Treat Planet's product portfolio and adds differentiated manufacturing capabilities.

The founder and co-founder of Bosco & Roxy's, Chris Bianco, has led the company to become one of North America's largest and most advanced pet bakeries, with a state-of-the-art, 80,000-square-foot facility. Bosco & Roxy's specializes in seasonal and everyday baked dog treats, investing in automation and manufacturing capabilities for consistent quality and rapid innovation.

Doug Martin, president and co-founder of Treat Planet, expressed excitement about the merger. He highlighted the shared commitment to high-quality dog treats between the two companies. Aliya Khaydarova, partner at Inverness Graham, the parent company of Treat Planet, sees this as a strategic move to build a category-leading consumable pet product company.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. However, the acquisition is expected to strengthen Treat Planet's position in the grab-and-go dog treats market across multiple channels. Bosco & Roxy's, headquartered in London, Ontario, will continue to operate under its own brand, bringing its unique offerings to a wider audience.
