TRU Simulation's A350 Level D Simulator Moves, Undergoes Re-certification

TRU Simulation, a leading manufacturer of full flight simulators (FFS), has recently moved one of its Level D simulators for the Airbus A350. This advanced simulator, offering full motion and high-resolution visuals, is crucial for high safety standards in aviation. Before resuming training, it must undergo a re-certification process by aviation authorities.

FFSs like this one are functional replicas of aircraft cockpits, providing diverse and complex flight scenarios for pilot training. They are mounted on multi-axis motion systems, enabling 'zero-flight time' training for experienced pilots. Pilots typically undergo this training every six months to maintain their licenses and refresh their skills.

TRU Simulation's Level D FFS combines dynamic motion systems, high-fidelity visuals, and authentic soundscapes to create an immersive experience. This helps pilots prepare for real-world situations, ensuring high safety standards in aviation. Every FFS must be evaluated and certified by aviation authorities to validate the training performed.

Following the move, TRU Simulation's Level D FFS for the Airbus A350 is currently undergoing re-certification. Once complete, it will resume providing high-fidelity training to pilots, contributing to the maintenance of high safety standards in aviation.
