The new P7 boasts an impressive array of advanced technology. It features an 800-volt platform with ultra-fast charging capabilities, allowing for a 325-mile range in just 10 minutes. The vehicle also showcases high-performance motors and a sleek aerodynamic design.
Pre-sales for the new P7 opened on August 6, 2025, and the model received over 10,000 orders within minutes, indicating strong market interest. Early reservations come with a discount of about $418 USD (3,000 yuan) from the final purchase price.
While the base pricing is approximately $41,750 USD (~RMB 300,000), exact final prices and variant-specific pricing details will be confirmed at the official launch.
The new-generation P7 measures 5,017 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,427 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,008 mm. XPeng has also introduced a movable center console screen for the first time in the new P7, incorporating some of the technology used in its humanoid robot Iron.
The new P7 comes standard with three Turing AI driving chips and offers three range options: 702 km, 750 km, and 820 km. It also has single-motor and dual-motor options, with the more powerful dual-motor version capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
In addition to the P7, XPeng has updated its G6 SUV, G9 SUV, and MPV this year and launched a new SUV, the G7. The company delivered a record 36,717 vehicles in July, marking the ninth consecutive month of monthly deliveries exceeding 30,000 units since November 2024. XPeng aims to double its delivery volume in 2025 compared to 2024.
The new P7 is built on an 800-volt high-voltage platform and equipped with battery packs supporting a 5C charging rate. It also supports VLA (Vision-Language-Action) and VLM (Vision-Language Models) large language AI models. The vehicle is equipped with a dual-chamber air suspension system that provides the low ground clearance of a luxury sports car.
