Littlebox Secures Seed Funding, Continues to Disrupt India's Fast Fashion Landscape
Littlebox, a Gen Z-focused ultra-fast fashion brand, has raised Rs 17.5 crore in a seed funding round. The funding round was co-led by Huddle Ventures and Prath Ventures, with a slate of angel investors also participating.
The startup, founded in 2022 by Rimjim Deka and Partha Kakati, gained exposure through its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 3, where it secured backing from all five "Sharks." Ishaan Khosla, Partner at Huddle Ventures, stated that Littlebox is an agile, tech-first player in India's fast fashion landscape.
Rimjim and Partha, the founders of Littlebox, have built a supply chain that reshapes global trends for Indian consumers. Unlike traditional seasonal fashion cycles, Littlebox cycles inventory every 15 to 30 days. The brand operates on a real-time retail model, introducing new fashion SKUs every week.
The startup operates its own warehousing network and manufactures its products in a 40,000-square-foot facility in Noida. The raised capital will be used for category expansion, UI/UX improvement, packaging, logistics, and marketing efforts.
Littlebox relies on a proprietary demand forecasting algorithm to minimize dead stock and optimize margins. The brand remains profitable while staying lean and moving fast, according to Piyush Goenka, Managing Partner at Prath Ventures. Piyush praised Littlebox for blending Gen Z insight with data-driven execution.
In the fiscal year ending FY25, Littlebox reported Rs 55 crore in revenue and a net profit of Rs 2.3 crore, more than four times the previous year's Rs 55 lakh. The brand aims to reach Rs 100 crore in revenue by FY26.
Huddle Ventures has been following Littlebox's journey closely, according to Ishaan Khosla. Littlebox operates its own warehousing network and manages to stay profitable while staying lean and moving fast. The additional angel investors who participated in Littlebox's funding round have not been publicly disclosed.
