In the coming weeks, the city of Amberg will introduce a new parking system in its public underground garages. The system, which will be implemented by Stadtwerke and Stadtbau, aims to improve the overall parking experience for customers.
The new system will be based on license plate recognition, eliminating the need for customers to take a ticket. Upon entry and exit, the system will automatically register the times, making the process more efficient and convenient for users.
Andreas Ascherl, managing director of Stadtwerke Amberg, stated that modern technology allows for more comfortable and efficient parking. He expressed confidence that this new system will greatly benefit the city's residents and visitors.
