University of Texas at Austin (UTA) expands its Branded Entertainment division by hiring Sam Glynne, strengthening its presence in Europe.
United Talent Agency (UTA), a globally renowned talent agency with a diverse roster of clients spanning music, gaming, and comedy, is escalating its brand entertainment service into Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), with the hiring of industry veteran Sam Glynne.
Glynne, who previously held a position at Fremantle, will assume the role of Head of UTA's Entertainment and Culture Marketing (E&CM) in EMEA. As part of the company's senior leadership, she will collaborate with Julian Jacobs and David Anderson, UTA partners and co-heads, to develop and implement an international strategy designed to create opportunities for both existing and new brand clients within the entertainment sector. Based in London, Glynne will work alongside strategic advisory firm MediaLink, recently acquired by UTA last December, to execute on this strategy.
In this role, Glynne is responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives that merge entertainment and culture, helping brands and talent navigate the ever-evolving digital and media landscape. Her work is instrumental to UTA's mission to pioneer in talent representation and brand partnerships within EMEA, contributing to the agency's broader vision of adapting to new media trends and fostering deeper connections between brands and creators.
