Upcoming revamp of Porsche's 911 Turbo model unveiled, set to make its debut at the Munich Auto Show

The much-anticipated Porsche 911 Turbo 2025 is set to make a significant impact with design and performance upgrades.

In terms of power, the current generation's 640 bhp and 800 Nm of torque in the Turbo S will see a significant climb. The new engine, a 3.0-litre unit from the GTS, will be paired with a 53 bhp electric motor, housed within the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This new setup is expected to produce a combined power output of 532 bhp, with the Turbo variant likely to produce around 700 bhp, and the Turbo S variant potentially more.

The design changes are as impressive as the power boost. The front bumper of the updated 911 Turbo will resemble the GTS, featuring vertically mounted active aero fins on the grille. The rear bumper is expected to feature a dual-exit exhaust system. The updated 911 Turbo will also boast new lighting elements.

The interior of the updated 911 Turbo will be modernised with a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster and an updated 10.9-inch infotainment display. A starter button on the door side is likely to be added, standard on all 911s except the hardcore GT3 models.

While the 2+2 layout may be retained, as hinted by one of the teasers featuring US actor Patrick Dempsey, the upcoming 911 Turbo is expected to be the first Turbo model offered in a 2-seater layout.

The electric motor is expected to contribute to increased power output in the upcoming 911 Turbos. The single turbocharger in the new engine setup is a testament to Porsche's commitment to efficiency and performance.

The Porsche 911 Turbo 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the Porsche lineup, promising a blend of design, performance, and efficiency that is sure to impress. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach its release.
