Ural Region Delegation Strengthens Ties with Belarus at INNOPROM

A business delegation from the Sverdlovsk region, led by Governor Denis Pasler, is currently in Minsk for 'INNOPROM. Belarus'. The visit comes amidst growing cooperation between the Middle Ural region and Belarus, with several enterprises showcasing their products and exploring new partnerships.

Last year, Belarus received 59 BelAZ dump trucks, with another 20 expected this year. This demonstrates the strengthening ties between the two regions. The delegation comprises representatives from 27 Ural enterprises, with 10 showcased at the regional stand. Notable companies include 'Uralenergoprom', manufacturing pumps for various industries, and 'Prosoft-Systems', developing high-tech devices for energy and metallurgical sectors.

The 'Pnevmostroitmashina' enterprise has established a joint venture with BelAZ in Belarus, indicating a commitment to long-term collaboration. Additionally, a BelAZ service center is operational in Belarus, and Belarusian agricultural machinery is being purchased from the Middle Ural region. The Ural Rubber Plant, producing conveyor belts and other rubber products, is also expected to benefit from this cooperation.

The Middle Ural region is eager to build new cooperative chains with Belarus, as evident from the ongoing 'INNOPROM. Belarus' event. Despite no specific collaborations mentioned for 2025, the current initiatives and investments suggest a promising future for bilateral trade and partnerships between the two regions.
