Website wins top accolades in APAC Asset Servicing Awards, with Anand Rengarajan being crowned 'Custodian Banker of the Year'. Trust and Securities Services also recognized as Best in Corporate Trust in the APAC region.
In a significant recognition of his leadership and strategic vision, Anand Rengarajan, Head of Sales for Trust and Securities Services (TSS) at Deutsche Bank, has been awarded the prestigious "Custodian Banker of the Year" accolade at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Investing Awards 2025.
Based in Singapore, Rengarajan oversees the custody and safekeeping of assets for major asset owners and managers across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions. His role has been instrumental in restoring client confidence and trust in Deutsche Bank's custody business, particularly following challenges such as the bank's credit rating downgrade several years ago, which raised concerns over counterparty risk in asset safekeeping.
Under Rengarajan's leadership, Deutsche Bank has undergone a business turnaround, re-establishing itself as a trusted custodian and a viable alternative for clients seeking diversification. He has been influential in evolving the asset servicing model to meet future demands, focusing on collaboration with global custodians to complement regional strengths.

The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and India were recognised for their exceptional performance in various categories.
