With the arrival of 'Reacher' Season 3, here's the latest information regarding Season 4
Reacher's third season is kicking some serious ass and critics are loving it! With a perfect score, it's proving that the show is still as strong as it was in its early days. But will the success continue long enough to warrant a season 4? Well, worry not because Amazon has already greenlit another season, way back in 2024!
Now, the production haven't started rolling yet, but based on Reacher's past release dates, we can estimate when season 4 might air:
- Season 1: February 2022
- Season 2: December 2023
- Season 3: February 2025
So, looking at these trends, we're likely looking at an April 2026 release date for season 4. A shorter gap between seasons than most streaming shows!
As for which book they'll be adapting, Lee Child, the series author, has mentioned his fondness for "The Midnight Line," the 22nd book in the series. In an interview, he said he'd love to see this opioid-themed book turned into a season. But, Amazon's choice isn't set in stone, and the 22nd book might be too much of a leap for them.
Amazon has expressed a desire to keep the Reacher series going for years to come, with plenty of material and a devoted audience to draw from. Let's hope we get more season news soon!
